Unless you are running debian in a virtual machine under xp I don't see what
you are saying by wizard? 

 

With debian there are several ways to handle installing packages, and
neither of them are like windows by double clicking on them. There may be
gui tool that does this but I am not sure. You can install packages through
synaptic which is a graphic interface or you can install through the command
line with apt-get or aptitude and there is also dpkg -i if you downloaded a

hai! i have just installed a debian operating system. i have many programs
in cd for linux. but i cant install them. in XP by wizard it is easy
installing. but double clicking files just open it.
