I'm running Lenny-amd64. I set up virtualbox-amd64 from their deb. Works fine, but....I have a network printer (HP Officejet Pro 8500) at 192.168.1.32 which is within my local network. The install of virtualbox sets up a network on the 10.x.x.x network for access between the guest OS and the host. I was able to force the installer to find the printer but it told me that since I was crossing networks it might not work properly. Sure enough, pages get dropped during a multi page print job.
My question is how do I change the IP that virtualbox uses for the guest to communicate with the host so that the guest is within my network and my printing will work properly?
