Hi Allan,

Do you have the PCI ID for the controller this worked on? Did it need megaraid_sas or mptsas?

I have what seems to be the same controller, the LSI SAS 1068E, but it is PCI ID 1000:0059 rather than 1000:0058.

It would really be helpful to know if my device is the same as the one you managed to get working.

The testing netinst image is needed for the NICs, and disabling
software RAID by removing the jumper JPS2.
