Are you trying to manually install the .deb? You can do that, but it'll be complicated: you'll need to download all dependencies from that site, and the dependencies of those dependencies, and so on. Let apt do the work for you. Add the repository (address and instructions are on that page) and then just use aptitude install ffmpeg. -- "I'd love to go out with you, but my favorite commercial is on TV."
