According to your says (comprising the last message you sent), you are right about your understanding of the situation. I have lots of drives, but the two important ones which are of importance here are: */dev/sda, containing / */dev/sdc5, the partition where I have copied the content of /home/merciadriluca/ , and which should be mounted in /home/merciadriluca/. I would have finished with this if all my settings were correctly interpreted, or at least recognized. The sdc is my new disk. - -- Merciadri Luca See http://www.student.montefiore.ulg.ac.be/~merciadri/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Processed by Mailcrypt 3.5.8 <http://mailcrypt.sourceforge.net/> iEYEARECAAYFAks10McACgkQM0LLzLt8Mhz91gCcC2E4UarhrW7NR2V14xb1H+E8 2rcAn1iTXZSP6ByIOBtL+TikiheYyOq6 =omPK -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
