-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
I think that it is a well-known thing that some MTAs (if not all) take some time to start (at boot). But I sometimes need to wait ~30 secs. with this output: == Starting MTA: == After this time, `exim4' is simply appended to this line. Does exim4 really need so much time to launch/start? If so, why? I need it, and I cannot deactivate it, but this slows down my boot. Thanks. - -- Merciadri Luca See http://www.student.montefiore.ulg.ac.be/~merciadri/ - -- The nail that sticks up will be hammered down. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Processed by Mailcrypt 3.5.8 <http://mailcrypt.sourceforge.net/> iEYEARECAAYFAkul30gACgkQM0LLzLt8Mhx09ACeL36YWpKpbPDAkVW39+l75siC TeEAnRIkL19ZmY+X+7XPgi08F8SuFr7p =WNTP -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
