Hmmm.  All the documents say to add MAILTO="".

If this is true, then it was a bug that cron worked without setting
$MAILTO. At least some admins will have to adjust their configurations
now...
I think this is a bug, this behaviour shouldn't change. It is not
sense mailto "" like in Ron attachment.


There's a patch in the bug report, for those really affected.
