You almost certainly don't want to, unless you *want* your root
password passing across the network in the clear.  Better:

(1) Remove rsh-server.
(2) Install ssh.  Make sure the sshd is running.
(3) ssh to the machine as your normal user.
(4) Use 'su' to become root.
