I noticed problems a few days back when I upgraded from linux-image-2.6.32-3-amd64 (which worked) to linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64 which does not (-3 works mostly OK, though some opengl programs display as black squares in place of windows which -5 has random flickering pixels all over the screen and sometimes is completely black from boot, though opengl works OK when it's displaying). Might be worth trying a slightly older kernel in case it's just this regresssion biting you. I'm using a Mobility Radeon HD 3400 on a Toshiba laptop. Regards, Roger -- .''`.
