most things can be restarted via the scripts that get places in /etc/init.d ..
maybe # /etc/init.d/SWAT restart

The list maintainers have configure the list so that "Reply" goes to the post author, not the list. Please "Reply to All".


Is there an /etc/init.c script for SWAT on your machine? There is nothing for SWAT under /etc on my machine:

    2010-09-08 17:53:24 dpchr...@p43400e ~
    $ sudo find /etc -iname "*swat*"
    2010-09-08 17:53:31 dpchr...@p43400e ~
    $
