Anyway, you can create a "/etc/X11/xorg.conf" file (if there is one already present just make a backup first -by renaming the file to something like "xorg.conf.old"-, never work on the original file without having done a copy first so in the event something goes wrong you can easily restore the original file). And there you can put: *** Section "Monitor" Identifier "Monitor0" DisplaySize 271 203 End Section *** (that is the size openSUSE 11.3 detected) Save the "xorg.conf" file and restart the system (the fastest way in this case to test the new configuration).
