to /etc/syscntl.conf sometime ago (the last time I was regularly using
Cinelerra). So that bit is already sorted
I tried (according to the Cinelerra tips) adding
Option "XaaNoOffscreenPixmaps"
to xorg.conf, but that hasn't made it work
