I booted Ubuntu Natty run # cd /media/debian/root # wget http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/p/pppoeconf/pppoeconf_1.19_all.deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/r/rp-pppoe/pppoe_3.8-3_amd64.deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/p/ppp/ppp_2.4.5-4_amd64.deb
then booted Debian stable, tried to install the packages, got the expected information about dependency issues, booted Ubuntu Natty again and now I run # cd /media/debian/root # wget http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/libp/libpcap/libpcap0.8_1.1.1-2_amd64.deb and will reboot debian stable. Will this become a never ending story aka running gag? Any ideas what packages I might have to add? Ralf
