Hi all, Does anyone knows how to configure internal mic on a toshiba laptop ? I simply cannot get it to work. I believe there is some issue with the driver as it appears as unsupported, could someone please confirm ? I could find a tool to test the speakers (speaker-test), however i could not find anything equivalent for the mic.
Thanks for suggestion, $ lshw ... *-communication UNCLAIMED description: Communication controller product: 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset HECI Controller vendor: Intel Corporation physical id: 16 bus info: pci@0000:00:16.0 version: 06 width: 64 bits clock: 33MHz capabilities: pm msi bus_master cap_list configuration: latency=0 resources: memory:d2305000-d230500f And: $ lspci -s 00:16.0 -vvx 00:16.0 Communication controller: Intel Corporation 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset HECI Controller (rev 06) Subsystem: Toshiba America Info Systems Device fd00 Control: I/O- Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR- FastB2B- DisINTx- Status: Cap+ 66MHz- UDF- FastB2B- ParErr- DEVSEL=fast >TAbort- <TAbort- <MAbort- >SERR- <PERR- INTx- Latency: 0 Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 11 Region 0: Memory at d2305000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16] Capabilities: [50] Power Management version 3 Flags: PMEClk- DSI- D1- D2- AuxCurrent=0mA PME(D0+,D1-,D2-,D3hot+,D3cold+) Status: D0 NoSoftRst+ PME-Enable- DSel=0 DScale=0 PME- Capabilities: [8c] MSI: Enable- Count=1/1 Maskable- 64bit+ Address: 0000000000000000 Data: 0000 00: 86 80 64 3b 06 00 10 00 06 00 80 07 00 00 80 00 10: 04 50 30 d2 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 20: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 79 11 00 fd 30: 00 00 00 00 50 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0b 01 00 00 Thanks, -- Mathieu -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
