In Main Menu/other/Gome Control Center there is an item ScreenSaver with check boxes for the following two lines: Activate screensaver when computer is idle Lock screen when screensaver is active I unchecked both these boxes. In addition, there is a power management button which opens a window with the lines: Put computer to sleep when inactive for: 10 minutes Put display to sleep when inactive for: 5 minutes The times are pulldown menus; shown are the settings I chose. I went away for 20 minutes and when I returned the screen was blank. When I hit the Caps key the screen came up and I was still logged in. > _______________________________________________ > gnome-list mailing list > gnome-l...@gnome.org > http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-list > -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
