This is a repeat posting. I get zillions of these running any apt/dpkg:
dpkg-query: warning: parsing file '/var/lib/dpkg/status' near line 117808 package 'user-de': missing architecture dpkg-query: warning: parsing file '/var/lib/dpkg/status' near line 119794 package 'xsession-initscript-knoppix': missing architecture dpkg-query: warning: parsing file '/var/lib/dpkg/status' near line 120284 package 'rootshell-knoppix': missing architecture Most (all?) of these are from the original knoppix installation (forgive me for I have sinned--please do not flame!). I assume over the years, most all of this is no longer in any use whatsoever. How can I get rid of these entries (without attempting to hand-edit 100,000 lines of text!)?
