Hi all, Since the upgrade to the 3.1 kernel, I'm seeing display flickers on two machines with an older ATI card (a 9600 and X1500). One machine is very vocal about EDID errors and blinks the display roughly every ten seconds, making it impossible to work with. The other logs no EDID errors and only blinks once every hour.
I've had this before, and then it was related to load detection which can be disabled (doesn't appear to work this time): $ xrandr --output DVI-0 --set "load detection" 0 The EDID errors can be resolved by killing output polling (drm.poll=0 on the kernel command line). Before I file a bug, is anyone else seeing this? Regards, Arno -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
