Also, anybody _I_ know who I catch running as root for day-to-day stuff
will get the "friends don't let friends drive drunk" treatment.

Um, yeah. My bad. As soon as I saw mention of mounting /home noexec,
I realized my mistake.
But at least you _can_ mount /home noexec, and in many circumstances
that'll be a perfectly practicable solution... :P
