Can You recommend a command line tool(s) that can extract metadata from .ape, .m4a, .wv - musical file formats? Before times I did use mplayer2 until I met 24bit files - in this case it failed w/ codec error. Searching through the web I did find answer to my question - people suggest tools to convert/decompress rather than metadata extraction only.
