Check that rtl8105e-1.fw is in /lib/firmware/ and please post the line in the output of 'lspci' which describes your wireless card. Have you got a /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules file? Is wlan* mentioned? Delete the file anyway; it will be regenerated. Reboot. If everything is ok (no hidden SSID, I hope) the network should be brought up automatically.
