Thank you very much for your help. At now, I can read from the install CDs. On 
my centos, I learned how to install extra programs from my install CDs , as the 
following :
#yum -disablerepo=\* -enablerepo=c6-media install gimp
Can you please let me know how can I do the same on my Debian ?
