Thanks for your mail, hopefully this will also get fixed into squeeze. It's 
quite annoying to have this warning everytime PERL gets called...

Debian 6.0 = squeeze

This is typical if you use  perl under LANG = "en_US.UTF-8".
This was fixed for wheezy ay perl
