Whatever you decide, there are useful sites and mailing lists you might
keep up with in parallel to any specific training. Here is a good

Here is the site I usually use to look up unusual activity on a
particular port, and if I have a few spare minutes, I frighten myself by
reading the last two or three diary entries: https://isc.sans.edu/
