I have noticed that after using my laptop (Compaq Presario 2210us)  for awhile,
the minimize, restore and close buttons become blacked out.  Under Settings ->
Appearances I changed to "Clearlooks" and this fixed it for awhile, but after
some time (few hours to days) the buttons get blacked out again.

This happens with all applications that I tested except for Chromium Browser.
On CB, the buttons remain unaffected.

Attached is a screenshot as an example.  I am running Wheezy.
