This has happened at least a dozen times in the past few years. I've removed tracker a few times, but it's been re-added due to dependencies/recommends. A product that is this immature should not be allowed to be part of the default installation. Again, tonight, I had to SSH in to my PC from another system and kill the `tracker-miner` process to be able to use my console. I have no idea how casual linux users put up with this.
