My apologize Weaver, indeed it might be more than a year ago, that I tested it the last time. So ok, it now is stable. In the old days it wasn't that close to GNOME 2 as Xfce is, I still suspect that Xfce is the best recommendation as a replacement for GNOME. I might be mistaken with this too ;).
