Some days ago I trimmed quotes on Linux audio users/developers and was ask to quote everything, because out of context the quotes would be manipulating the content. But it anyway was an insane discussion, since somebody forked software that is GPL'ed and the author was pissed that somebody forked his GPL'ed code, to add features that the author don't want to see in his GPL'ed code. And the most funniest is, that the one who like to forbid the fork of his GPL'ed code got encouragement of most others on those lists.
