(It's been a while since I used apt pinning, but IIRC) if you only want a single package from testing, you should probably Pin all packages from testing to something like -10, and Pin that specific package from testing to the same priority as stable. e.g. Package: * Pin: release a=stable Pin-Priority: 700 Package: * Pin: release a=testing Pin-Priority: -1 Package: some-package Pin: release a=testing Pin-Priority: 700 Or you could pin testing, but not pin the package at all and simply install some-package=some-version. You can check the priorities w/ 'apt-cache policy'. - - Felix -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Icedove - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQIcBAEBCgAGBQJSzJGWAAoJELIY/ywn/GzGrB4QALxSfMz3xQNpxwnvPZYDXZDB /Uy9Pnn3OAhglPFR8/oZmurWmwQxxPnQP3+dnvy4860zCVq6DqH1ZQc8L4LkTba1 kroqMkOTmpbUb2doYq4XLkitNsLqeTTeD7Boq74IG80kla4TRy2GETiTaZ+zJpQg zsdlG2eokq1TmFQ072Wt11tx+9pfB9G2haLm4KnPaJyoMgPa2A0D5OgnJTc+QtUJ 0/7s/to98+ePZKsChgetu+aJECaXc/xOd6Aeb9XjsfyoHIIqONQj7GtU92+njDiY 99blOsv8V65+i5LZgusdPmnL1D3H91P+JC6k7CdxfIZooX6rBtJ1PDxtYVSaWe2O a01PiR0dxGRmdCi2arwttlfL8zr3X4umy7OZUh8rvyKCyjRrsJvFiprqAsPCS8z2 CVrgIs2tBDEJYdKcutrfpB0pelUX1wacwvWGJHEDAFFaUKG6y6fwX1bxmZK/pj4A Ei46/PJ1bBnmFtRZ6N0fdcwkhl7yiszVKfrCby0Ng9mDGVnicbrDq+jbwK8O8+dl 7CkDgpOl7hxq9Zsg10YqboZxJNxEisu+LVwBpP+qkPG9SJ/SNyZMtrLG66scplE8 aN4SkW0ipEsv1/R6IcI6QgEH/NlWhUERoacxKYWReN1z0iVC9IRkE9hpS8QuZPyE GKX+hE6j4D+TD9QqxNRi =2KJS -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
