Maybe you have to execute the following command as root: # alsactl init sometimes it helps. > I do not know whether the firmware ISO's allow a user to choose which > desktop environment is installed, and the procedure that I found, for > dealing with the .tar.bz files from the Realtek web site, seem too > complicated. > > Thank you in anticipation, for constructive assistance. > > -- > Bret Busby > Armadale > West Australia > .............. > > "So once you do know what the question actually is, > you'll know what the answer means." > - Deep Thought, > Chapter 28 of Book 1 of > "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: > A Trilogy In Four Parts", > written by Douglas Adams, > published by Pan Books, 1992 > .................................................... > > Best regards Georgi -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
