I think your Packages file is screwy. Can you please post: * the contents of /etc/apt/sources.list; * the first block of text from /storage/debs/Packages or /storage/debs/Packages.gz or whatever? My feeling is that the Packages file has been generated with the wrong paths, which should be relatively easy to fix. > The above suggests that apt is able to access the directory, see the > files it, but not access them. The errors say "file not found", not "permission denied". Therefore apt is looking in the wrong place.
