Hi, upgrading OSX to Yosemite on a Macbook Air (Mid 2013) and (Mid 2014) apparently also updates the firmware in a way that triggers an interrrupt storm in Linux. This is related to the i915 driver. The result is kworder thread running full steam, and this will eat away your battery in no time.
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=85881 If you own a Macbook Air (Mid 2013) or (Mid 2014) and you haven't upgrade to Yosemite yet, it would *greatly* be appreciated if you could attach the output of acpidump and dmidecode to the above bug report (more details there).
