[CC me please]

Hi folks,

I am trying to diagnose why my USB mouse wont get powered up (DELL
Optical mouse) after resume. It used to work just fine on wheezy
(amd64).

Here is what dmesg says after resume:

[ 5022.967737] [drm] Enabling RC6 states: RC6 on, RC6p off, RC6pp off
[ 5022.979881] usb 4-1.3: new low-speed USB device number 5 using ehci-pci
[ 5023.076175] usb 4-1.3: New USB device found, idVendor=046d, idProduct=c077
[ 5023.076178] usb 4-1.3: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2,
SerialNumber=0
[ 5023.076180] usb 4-1.3: Product: USB Optical Mouse
[ 5023.076181] usb 4-1.3: Manufacturer: Logitech
[ 5023.078962] input: Logitech USB Optical Mouse as
/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.0/usb4/4-1/4-1.3/4-1.3:1.0/0003:046D:C077.0002/input/input17
[ 5023.079097] hid-generic 0003:046D:C077.0002: input,hidraw0: USB HID

usb-0000:00:1d.0-1.3/input0
[ 5023.079550] usb 1-1.1: USB disconnect, device number 6

If I unplug/re-plug the mouse:

[ 5431.256517] usb 4-1.3: USB disconnect, device number 5
[ 5432.072913] usb 4-1.3: new low-speed USB device number 6 using ehci-pci
[ 5432.169914] usb 4-1.3: New USB device found, idVendor=046d, idProduct=c077
[ 5432.169924] usb 4-1.3: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2,
SerialNumber=0
[ 5432.169929] usb 4-1.3: Product: USB Optical Mouse
[ 5432.169933] usb 4-1.3: Manufacturer: Logitech
[ 5432.173448] input: Logitech USB Optical Mouse as
/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.0/usb4/4-1/4-1.3/4-1.3:1.0/0003:046D:C077.0003/input/input18
[ 5432.174111] hid-generic 0003:046D:C077.0003: input,hidraw0: USB HID
v1.11 Mouse [Logitech USB Optical Mouse] on
usb-0000:00:1d.0-1.3/input0

Then everything is back to normal.

For reference, I am using a DELL Vostro 3750, jessie amd64 (uptodate).
USB Mouse is using the USB 2.0 port (not one of the USB 3.0 port).

Thanks,

Mathieu
