There's more stuff on the DVD iso than the CD iso. You can download it all anyway once you've finished the installation, so there isn't really much point in downloading the DVD iso. If you have an internet connection, you can download the even smaller netinst CD, which downloads saves you even more bandwidth: https://www.debian.org/CD/netinst/
