apt-get upgrade possible upgraded openjdk 6 to openjdk7 (possibly because backports are included in my sources, I don't know precisely), after which libreoffice didn't start even from terminal. After much guess work, I tried installing libreoffice5, which was available in backports. Now, libreoffice is working fine, without any issue.
