What HAL libraries specifically are needed for Flash DRM authentication with Hulu?
I've done a lot of searching and can find nothing that specifically names what is required. Most all articles are Ubuntu specific, and recommend the hal-flash stub, which won't work on my Wheezy set up due to dependencies like udisks2 and its dependency on systemd. I don't want anything systemd related on this system. I did a test with Wheezy 64-bit in Virtual Box, LXDE desktop, and just installed HAL -- apt-get install hal -- and Hulu worked. There seemed to be no conflicts with udev. However, one article I read mentioned that the full install of hal isn't needed for the DRM process, and only certain libraries are required, but they weren't named. Stupid. I'd rather install ONLY what is required to avoid potential problems. Any ideas before I start trial and error installing? Thanks. B
