Depending on your needs a free solution may get you what you need. If you want to be able to access, for example, home computers while on the go, the free software included in Debian "openvpn" does a great job for that. I've been using that a lot recently to work on home programming projects while away from home on business trips. But to answer your question, yes I've used HMA, find it to work very well, but if you choose a country other than the one you are in you need to recognise you just lengthened your computer's path to the internet and correspondingly you will see a reduction in bandwidth / transfer rate. I found I could stream video using HMA, but I had to put up with occasional slowdowns and, very occasionally, not being able to scrape together enough speed for streaming to work at all. Mark
