TLS_ON_CONNECT is unnecessary. However, be aware that a mail server might expect the envelope From to correspond to the mail account name, otherwise the mail will not be authorised. Gmail doesn't do this but others do. By default, Exim will use the login name on the machine plus the content of /etc/mailname for the From address. -- Brian.
