Audio problems in Sid

Running Debian Sid uptodate.
Lost all sound this morning after an APT update/upgrade. I don't see 
anything in the update that should affect sound but what do I know :)

This is the output of INXI -A

frank@franklin:~$ inxi -A
Audio:     Device-1: Intel 5 Series/3400 Series High Definition Audio

Can someone suggest where I should start looking ??
