If I wanted to know from what package that strange utility or file comes from, I'd typed: $ apt-file find rmadison If you will use adapta-gtk-theme, I suggest you to create a simple backport [1] of it with colors you like. This is what I did, long before this package has arrived to official Debian repos, because I dislike default colors and it's easy to change them.
