That isn't a full answer. That could be one step in the answer that begins with "install resolvconf". https://wiki.debian.org/resolv.conf#Configuring_resolvconf But a deeper investigation is required, to find out where the 8.8.8.8 is coming from in the first place. If someone has already *done* something (i.e. this is not a vanilla installation), then first we have to discover what has been done.
