Won't the alias mean that every time you use scarletdown it will be interpretted to mean gsutton9503? I'm not sure you really want that if you have a user named scarletdown. My thinking would be to limit this to just fetchmail and mutt by editing .fetchmailrc and .muttrc, but I could be wrong. There are others far more qualified than I am on this topic.
