That's what I do any time I set up a new debian box:
$ cat /etc/vim/vimrc.local " restore classic console mouse handling " [wr] 2019-12-20 set mouse= set ttymouse= Just didn't remember it by heart when I wrote the mail. But I knew it was there, just had to look it up. I don't know why it got lost in the upgrade. regards Wolfgang
