Without response?  The apache maintainer got back to you within 36
hours, according to the bug log.

What have you tried?  Did you rebuild apache or mod_perl?

$ apt-get build-dep apache libapache-mod-perl ; apt-get -b source apache 
libapache-mod-perl

sit and wait, then install the resulting .debs.  As Fabio said, it's a
problem with Perl's ABI, which are being/should be soon fixed.
