I don't have that device, but I recently switched from a 
Ipcop/486/8-port switch to a Netgear device, similar in spec to the 
D-Link. You access the configuration through a browser interface so it 
really does not matter what OS you are using, afaik.

One thing I realized after the switch was now I depend on Netgear for 
updates, which seem to be timely, but it is a  different feeling if you 
are used to dealing with the GNU/Linux community for solutions.
