Microsoft's latest trick is to outsource the compulsory part to employers (they've got their employees by the pay slip, after all). The nice part about that is that Microsoft already had the infrastructure in place to persuade Those Who Decide -- who then force Those Who Have To Suffer to use whatever cra^H^H^H mumble365 was the shiniest. In a nutshell: you get a company computer (and aren't allowed to bring your own), and you don't get admin rights on that.
