[...] I have already downloaded the ISO, firmware-10.9.0-amd64-netinst.iso, from the link: https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/cd-including-firmware/current/amd64/iso-cd/firmware-10.9.0-amd64-netinst.iso I will dd the ISO to a flash drive and clean reinstall the OS. Have saved the grub lines for Knoppix too.
