It would be probably better for you to uninstall the packages that were automatically installed along with xfce4. apt-get autoremove will do that, but it may remove other packages that you may want to keep. If in doubt, look at the timestamps of the files in /var/lib/dpkg/. Regards, -- Nicolas George
