I see reports now from Ubuntu and Manjaro, so I'm pretty sure this is Google's issue. Downgrading to https://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/pool/main/g/google-chrome-stable/google-chrome-stable_96.0.4664.110-1_amd64.deb is reported to work. Eventually, presumably, Google will fix it. -dsr-
