OK, I installed virtualbox and virtualbox-dkms from Sid. Indeed, I have it working in testing with 5.18.0-1-amd64 now. In VB, I have Windows XP and Windows 7 installed. In XP, USB can be accessed. In W7, it still says: 'no devices available'. There seems to be a special USB problem with W7, which I have not sorted out yet. Anyway, made considerable progress!
