always a good idea to keep a stable booting partition handy, especially when running sid (my opinion of course :) ). normally i stick with testing and it seems ok for what i'm doing but i also keep the stable partition bootable just in case. nothing i'm doing is production grade or involves possible harm to anyone else so that is the other consideration. songbird
